Mr Kemish was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham last Tuesday afternoon when his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a Jeep in Station Road, Ditton Priors. He died the following day.

Ms Kemish said today: "David lived quietly in the village but packed a lot into his life with interests spanning from steam engines to boating.

"But his main love was music and he was a gifted player of many instruments, including the Slide Guitar to world-class level.

"David played in many bands during his life and was currently with Jonah and the 45s, playing rock and roll."

She said Mr Kemish had recently retired as a mechanical engineer to spend more time perfecting his music and pursuing his other hobbies.

"David is very sadly missed by his family and his partner," Ms Kemish added.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision and have renewed appeals for witnesses to call 0300 333 3000.
